School's History

Disiplina Village Bignay High School had its root with the creation of Disiplina Village at Brgy. Bignay by the City Government of Valenzuela in response to the growing need for a safe, equitable and people-friendly housing program, far removed from the dangers of flooding and other natural and man-made calamities that plague their former homes. Hon. Rex T. Gatchalian, City Mayor and the City Council of Valenzuela, with Dr. Wilfredo E. Cabral, then SDS of Division of City Schools of Valenzuela and Hon. Mary Ann R. Victoriano and the barangay council of Brgy. Bignay led the efforts in the establishment of DVBHS. They were joined in this noble cause by no less than Congressman Wes T. Gatchalian in his House Bill no. 2640 and Senator Win T. Gatchalian with his Senate Bill no. 1118 “AN ACT CREATING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY BIGNAY, VALENZUELA CITY TO BE KNOWN AS DISIPLINA VILLAGE – BIGNAY NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFORE” Disiplina Village Bignay High School is a small school devoted to the needs of its students and stakeholders, with one family that works together to the achieve its goals, with a leader and work selflessly and tirelessly for the benefit of all, and with a vision and mission to serve and promote quality education for every “Disiplinadong” Valenzuelanos of Disiplina Village.
